An online clothing retailer felt it didn't need to offer its customers a credit card refund upon the return of unworn clothing in its original packaging. After 2 months of disputing this charge, Citigroup decided to kowtow to this small site and did not issue a credit card refund in its customer's favor. What ever happened to the idea of credit card companies actually offering protection to its consumers?
After 7 years of being a cardholder, I just cancelled my account. Also, here's a big fuck you to Citigroup, a company that I will never do business with again.
